THE PRESENTATION

Indian Legends and Afro-Brasilian Music for chanting and piano is a musical and audiovisual presentation showed through an unusual joining of three languages: the erudit, folk and technological.

It is a research work in which the link of music and animation videos lead the to be in contact with some legends and myths of two of the main cultures that developed the Brazilian people: The indians and black men.

The esthetic format of this presentation demonstrates the care of being didadics and the conscious for any age of group and cultural level, the interest about the Brazilian music and so, to make it stronger the memories that are present in these popular demonstrations shows, and also proving the Brazilian cultural identity and how rich it is.

Into the repertoire we can find the the composers Heitor Villa-Lobos, Waldemar Henry, Hekel Tavares, Almeida Prado and Vagner Rosafa signatures. The last one pointed is the composer who signs the direction, production and the all researcher of the presentation.
